Generally, great sprinters have generally come from west Africa (Ghana, Nigeria) and great distance runners have geneally come from east Africa (Kenya, Ethiopia). There are certainly exceptions. Morocco produces some great middle distance and distance runners. How do you classify South Africa? The produce some great athletes ase well. However, my bets would be on.
