What is the Best thing to eat or drink 15 min or so before you run the 400M in track to get an energy boost?
The 400M is the last event of the day and looking for advice on what has really worked for others to get an energy boost.

theres no food or drink that will give you a boost like that. the best thing to do is make sure you have enough carbs in the days leading up to the race, and get plenty of water / gatorade.caffeine drinks like Red Bull are a sure way to make yourself sick.
i usually just drink d little sips of water and eat about 5 pretzel rod or snack things and i was fine but you definitly need to eat something bcuz you can telll a huge difference if you dont..also stay out of the sun if you can.
