Neck/shoulder pain when running?
After running for about 15 minutes, I get a pain in the right side of my neck and right shoulder which gets steadily worse until I have to stop. Any ideas what's causing this and what I can do about it?

I have the EXACT same problem. I went to my track trainer, and he gave me some exercises to do. Its usually not normal, but for me, my problem was the way I run. My elbows expand outwards when I run, so its my technique that I need to work on. Also though, in the fall, I injured my right shoulder playing volleyball...so my injury could still remain, and aggravate my shoulder. My advice---see a physical therapist. They should give you exercises to do so that your shoulder and neck aren't in so much pain after you run.
How fast can I run if I am not on treadmill?
I get this sometimes too. I usually suspect it's because I'm not breathing properly. My muscles up there start cramping.
So then I start breathing in deeply through my nose (and pushing out my stomach to pull in more air) and blow out with my mouth a bit slower than I normally breath while running.
The deeper and longer you breath in through your nose the more oxygen gets to your muscles.
After doing this for a couple minutes while running it goes away.
Also, consider taking iron tablets. Iron helps your blood carry oxygen better.
How do you clean rubber shoes such as adidas?
This is an oxygen problem, I get it too. Not anymore though. What happens is you're running too fast for your oxygen to keep up, and you're running out, there's a tube or something that goes up to your head and nothing's getting through there and your body thinks something is wrong.
The way to get rid of it and still run fast is by using short breaths, breath in your nose and out your mouth, inhale more than you exhale so you still have most of the oxygen in you. This also takes time off whatever you're running in, so you get profit off of it.
I'm in 8th grade and can run a 5:45-6:00 mile, and a 2:50 half mile, I know what to do...
