Is there a way I can calculate my 40 time from my 50 time?

A rough estimate?

How do you break in a new pair of running shoes?

Your question seems a bit confusing. Do you mean the 40m run vs the 50m? If so, then to calcuate your time just divide by 5 and multiply by 4. Of course this is pretty rough, but depending on what kind of start you have, its a pretty good estimate. If you have a quick exploding block start, then the time should be accurate. If you take more time accelerating, then your 40m time should be slower than the calcuated.

dude just run a 40 instead. its way easier than doing calculations.
