Whats the best womens running shoe for Nike ( thats all I wear)?

I just started running and all I wear is Nike. I have always had Nikes. I always have worn the basic sneakers but now since I started running I would like to upgrade. Also is there really a difference between the basic and the Nikes with the "shock absorbers"? Thanks in advance!

Do you think weightlifting helps distance runners?

For distance running (2+ miles), you should consider the Nike Pegasus. I believe that is the leading brand for women's distance running, at least for Nike.

That being said, you really should consider the other brands when you buy running shoes. Nike isn't always the best. Brooks, Asics, Mizuno, and Saucony all make shoes that can be considered superior to Nike. I would strongly advise that you find a running specialty store in your area with trained professionals to fit you. They will evaluate your stride and advise you as to which kind of pronation you have and what kind of shoe you should be purchasing.

Is running better then bikeriding or vice versa??

I wear Nike Shox and they are the best pair of running shoes that I have ever owned!

What is a proper track diet?

u should expand ur horizons cause asicis are the best rnning shoes but 4 nike i like the nike shox the best 4 running

I run / walk 4-7 miles per day on the sidewalks and roads, what kind of shoes should I be wearing?

Nike doesn't make very good running shoes, unless you are solely on the treadmill.

If on the treadmill, Nike Shox and Equilons are perfect.

If you are an outside runner, I HIGHLY suggest you go to a running store and have them recommend a shoe based on your running style, miles and foot position.

Does running effect your abs even the littlest bit?

Nike makes several different models that are great shoes. A few I would recommend are the Nike Equalon(Moderate Stabilty-High Cushioning), Structure Triax(Moderate Stablity), Span Triax(Mild Stablity), Zoom Elite 2(Mild Stabilty), Vomero 2(High End Neutral- Cushioning), or Air Pegasus(Neutral- Cushion). All of these shoes are great shoes, but they provide different amounts of cushioning and stability. You also don't want to limit yourself to just one brand. There are many great shoes out there from all different brands. So if you are unsure about the type that would be the best for you, I would visit your local running specialty store and be fitted for the pair that best matchest your gait cycle and personal needs. Plus most of those shoes are also Nike Plus Shoes, which means that you can put a chip in your shoe from Ipod, if you have an Ipod Nano and it will tell you your spped, distance, and pace through your Ipod.

Any possible way to measure the distance of a circle w.out expensive equpiment?

Nike Shox have to be the most horrible shoes ever for running. I can't believe anyone recommended them. Listen to the guys who work in the specialty running stores. I've always been a big fan of the Pegasus, and the Triax was good too. Now I am liking the Frees, although I believe they have stopped making them. But it really depends on how you run and how the shoe fits your foot.

Is 5:22...?

Any shoe from Nike Pegasus series. I own a pair myself. It has great cushioning, especially beneficial to preventing leg injuries if you run on paved or hard surfaces.

I don't recommend wearing NIke Shox, because the added incline makes you more prone to leg injuries. Imagine running in Shox being similar to running in high heels; it is harder to maintain your balance. Depending on your running gait (probably not the best form unless you are under serious training), it is almost guaranteed that you will experience some form of a rolled ankle when running on uneven terrain.

Also, you should check out the shoe finding tool at runnersworld.com. You can find the best type of shoes for your individual needs, and on the search page just check the Nike box to make sure all your results are Nike shoes! I've included the link below in the source section if you need it.

How fast can u run 2 miles? 1 mile? 40 yard dash?

Please, do not run in Nike Shox. All though they are the coolest looking shoes ever made (I think so) they are the worst for running. Look beond Nike, try Asics, they combine the ultimate durability, chushioning, and comfort. Try either Asic Kaynos or Asic Gel-Nimbus.

Hi,I'm joining the track team,is.?

I would recommend that you don't wear nikes just because they are what you have always worn. They tend to wear out before any other shoe i've run in. Asics are by far the best shoe out there.
