Who do I have pains in only one leg after running and how can I fix this?
Sometimes after I run about 3 miles my left leg's ankle will feel sore and I was have a slight burning sensation all up and down my left leg. However, I don't have any issues with my right leg. I am short, 5'2", weigh about 119 lbs, and my legs are fairly short (in comparison to the rest of my body). My left leg also happens to be SLIGHTLY longer than my right but insignificantly.

What is your ideal weather to run a 5k in ?
It may be shin splints. I have shin splints (right leg only) and sometimes I get a feeling like that . Like after I run a 5k.I as a cross-country runner have had pains in one leg and not the other the only thing I can think of is that maybe your left ankle my not be as strong as your right or one leg may be a little bit longer. so myabe you can work on strengthening it before and after runs like ankle circles and what not. Make sure you ice a lot and pay attention to what your body is telling you.
Maybe your putting to much pressure on your leg by running a little to much. Do some stretching on both legs and maybe that should help.
Which spikes to wear for 800m?
Yes my left leg only gets pain in the shin area I would ice everyday after practice which is what the trainer told me to do and do some ankle and shin exercises to strengthen themWhat is the best advice for running a 5k in the cold and rain?
One leg being slightly longer can make a big difference in how you feel. It does not take much imbalance to cause problems. You might try some inserts or see a podiatrist if this continues.More Questions & Answers...
