How do you improve for long jump?
its normal if you breathe through your mouth while you run.its mostly because you are inhaling a lot of dust and stuff while you breathe, which sticks in your saliva. also, water evaporates more quickly from your saliva, making in thicker. your body wants to get rid of this, so you salivate more, making you want to spit.
Will I lose my running fitness after 1 week?
The body needs to get rid of water when hot.One main way is sweat!
same with saliva, you just seem to produce quite a bit!

I dont know but stop doing it you dirty little toad!!!Could I prepare for a 10 mile run... in five months?
So swallow it. I go running and don't feel the need to spit in public, it's disgusting. You wouldn't do it if you were on the treadmill at the gym. It's just your body's response to getting hot, you produce more fluids such as sweat and saliva.

Just a few quick question for all you runners out there. I just need a few opinions.?
It's a normal running thing.that and the air hanky! LOLWhat are the best shoes for Pole vault and also long jump??
It's caused by a combination of things, like breathing through your mouth, dust in the air, and because its a way to get rid of excess moisture. It's gross, but the only way to really get rid of it is to spit. Oh well...just don't do it when anyone's looking. :)Hey i need to know if anyone runs distance in track?
a saliva buildupIt sounds to me that you're not drinking enough water. when I run more than three milers I use a water belt with four little bottles of water, I have never felt the need to spit. try drinking more water before you run (short distances) On long runs well I think you know what to do. Enjoy the freedom of running
