Main thing to do is hydrate. Eat something that won't fill you up too much. I would eat something like toast, crackers, maybe PB&J, but the main focus would be hydration. Also, eat something with some sugar in it, but not too much. Good Luck!!a lot of carbs like spaghetti and bread

Hardly anything. Drink fluids and eat a raw egg. Snickers. I never been in track before but I had a sister who tried these 3 things. She was thin too and I used to jog around with her. She got older now but those were the good ole days.Should a long distance runner shave his legs?
The night before my big races whether its a 5k or a half marathon(which I've run 7 of), I make some pasta for carbs. But instead of spaghetti sauce, I cook some squash and zucchini, and then put a little melted butter and parmesean cheese on top of it. Tastes great, sits light, and doesn't upset your stomach.Advice for running the London Marathon (26.2miles)?
Hey :-) i run marathons and the best advise i can give you is to eat things with a high carb intake like frensh fry's. Then a hour before the race some jelly babies, energy bars and not red bull or enything with caffiene inside.When I go running/jogging in the winter I wear tracksuit bottoms, a vest, trainers & gloves.?
It is only a half, you do not need to carbo load, you will not be out there long enough to deplete your energy system. Eat something you can digest, not heavy like meat. Drink plenty of water, your biggest danger is dehydration. Depending on what time the race starts you will need to eat something in the morning. I always like plain oatmeal, which does not sit on my stomach and cause problems hours later.More Questions & Answers...
