I'm 13 years old and i'm training for a 1500m race on my manual treadmill, what is the best distance to do?
I've got a really important 1500m race in three days, i've been training for the last week doing around the 1500m mark on my treadmill but i was wonderung wether there was a way i could get myself a bit sharper for the raceday. e.g doing shotrter but faster ect.) thankx

first of all good luck, but you shouldn't be training for racing on a tread mill it will mess up your stride, with only three days left before a race there really isnt much you can do training wise that will help you, things you should do are to make sure you stretch out every day, light running (i.e1/2 -2 miles) stay hydrated and make sure you eat good stay away from junk foods and sodasprobably 1500, though start incrementally
about 2200-2400 will do, if u don't mind u can continue to 2500 to make it sharper.
