Exercise (running)?

if you run a lot to keep in shape, will you become really skinny, or will you become more muscular or bulk??

I think my stride is messing me up?

You willl not become bulky because running does not exercise the upper body. Your legs might become larger. You may or may not become skinny, because weight loss or gain is determined by the amount of calories you consume and the amount of calories you burn. So it is how much do you run and how much do you eat?

Looking for someone with Real Hurdle experience in track- not if you just saw it; only if you do it?

You definitely lose weight. To gain muscle you gotta bulk up with food.

Which shoes for running do u reccomend for me to use?

Depends on what you want, and how much you want devote to running. People are made different and there bodies react different to exercises. Metabolism plays a big part also. If you just want to lose weight, run at a good pace for distance, and to get faster run for time. As you can see, most muscular people (weight lifters) don't run too much, but just enough to stay healthy.

Do you think it would be possible for me to get my mile run down to 5 minutes by fall?

well after u run u have to eat. then u will not get skinny. and after u eat u have to run.
