I need to know why one of my feet is going numb during my running exercises.?

My left foot keeps going numb when I go jogging. I have tried giving a little more slack on my shoe strings, but that did not work. Is there a reason for this? How do I prevent it?

Cross Country Running?

Most often this is caused by running shoes that are tight or tied to tight, But, if it is persistant outside of running it could be an indication of other problems.

So if you take your shoes up and the numbness goes away then chances are you should be looking at new running shoes. Running shoes should be bought at least 1 size bigger then your biggest foot. Or about your thumbnail between your biggest toe and the end of the shoe.

I think you lack stretching before you run.

Try doing some leg stretches.
