Why do I get shaky after I run?
A long distance runner myself, I think you can start running immediately. I do not know your previous running experience, but I posted a link to a "beginning running" training program on the runnersworld.com website, which incorporates running with short walking breaks. There are also more advanced training programs on that website and the runningtimes.com website. For football, working up to a thirty minute run per day would probably be ideal. You could even run before school, depending on when your school starts each day. If you have morning workouts for football, you could run on the mornings that you don't have practice. Good luck!!What's a way to stop me from looking down at the ground while running?
main thing about running is drink plenty of water bfore during and afterHow much can i improve by next year?
IF you want to improve your endourancerun with a friend for an hour or two without stoping and you'll improve your endorance but do it every day a two
I don't know why people keep insisting the 'main thing' with running is to drink before, during and after. More people die in endurance events becaus eof drinking too much to drinking too little, and yet people always encourage drinking more. If you drink slightly too little during you run then you drink more later; dehydration has many obvious symptoms such as thirst first obviously and then feeling very ired like unable to continue, so basicly you will know to stop, and then you can drink more then. Drinking too much waters down the salts and minerals you require with sometimes fatal consequence, someone recently died in the London Marathon because of it, when in competitve races have you heard of someone dying of dehydration?
Your fine to start running at your age and I'ld deffinatly recommend it, its a great fun form of excercise. I don't know what level you're at now, as you play sports you obviously have a basic fitness level at least, but obviously work into it depending on your fitness. If you have to walk/run your early runs then do so, but never walk longer than 1 minute before running as far as you can again. Increase slowly making the runs longer, don't increase the miles your covering more than 10% week on week though. If your just aiming to increase endurance one run of sort of 1-2 hours a week would be plenty, throw in a couple of 30 mins to 1 hour runs during the week and that should be fine for your aims, theres no need to build to a much higher level than that, unless you start to like running as a sport in its own right. No matter what level of endurance you build up to never schedule a normal endurance run of more than 3 hours, longer than that and you start risking injury.
Should you train on the same days as baseball, well not before as it'ld likely reduce your performance; after, well that depends on how how tired baseball leaves you. If you can avoid training on the same days I would at first, as starting running will take its toll on your body, though once you start playing fooball aswell it'ld probably be best to train on baseball days rather than football days I'ld imagine.
What to eat during long training runs and actual marathon day?
i have a son who joined the same time you r he ran 10 miles every day for 3 weeks and he still plays foot ball in high school well hes 6 foot 2 and 245 pounds and hes only 15 but he is good at what he does he wants to play for nflBefore you run, perform some warm up exercises by stretching those the legs and upper torso. This will prevent the lactic acid from building up...and causing cramps.
