What to think about when running?

I want to run a mile in less than 7 minutes in March, and I don't know how to train!!?

first of all, run on a daily basis. join a track and field team, run marathons [or half marathons], or just fun by yourself. another way that my coach taught me was to keep your arms up. if you run with your arms flopping by your side, you'll run slower. if they are up, like bended, then it will make your heart beat healthier. the faster you move your arms while they are up, the faster you will go.

How many miles can you run nonstop?

simple. after u have a general base established, do lots of pylometric exercises that train the elasticity of your muscles. Things like jumping from a 3 foot platform and immediately rebounding, minimising the time on the ground.

Intervals, damn short 20-50m bursts all out.

Weight training. moderate heavy fast reps. Power up ur whole body not just your legs.

Pylometrics with weights.

Running with resistance - think rocky balboa with that tire behind. A parachute or having someone pull u with an elastic cord will provide good resistance.

your technique and form are most important. go search youtube for running vids and anaylse their form. up your stride rate and stride length - drills and pylometrics help here.

Drugs. Steroids will get u up and running in no time, except you risk losing a father's day in the future.

Attire. No drag, maximum traction for your shoes, minimum weight for everything. Get full body tights.

Adrendaline. Psych yourself up before u run. The anger and excitement will give you power!

Nutrition. Eat the right protein laded food. No junk food, hence a low body fat ratio. lose any available fats on you.

Rest. Sleep early, have naps for sufficient recovery.

Faith and the right mentality is important too.

Use a treadmill and set the inclinee all the up and the speedat what you like. Run for as long as you can then lower the incline to 0 for 1 minute and repeat.

Best way to improve 400m time?

practice u have to run everyday or else yoyour speed wont improve....to help u i like to bring a friend along that is at ur same speed and race...that helps u push your self to win..it helped me
