How can I get my mile run faster? I can run it in about 7min. but I want to get it to about 5.30 Help?

protein, fruits, whole grains, high energy foods, vegetables especially green vegs, a multi vitamin if you aren't into vegs for females folic acid, iron,make sure you get ther proper amount of sleep too, when working out in high heat or humidity potassium (bananas) and replace the sodium/salt lost in sweating.
