do you think its bad that i've gotten shin splints 3 times during my high school xc and track season. im a sophmore right now. i got them for my first time in track last year, and then at the beginning of cross country this year, and now im starting to get them agian. i've heard that people usually only get them once. so im starting to think its a problem if this is my third time getting them.

i dont think its anything weird
ive gotten shin splints every season
except my softmore year my coach showed me some shin exercises and they havent come back since.
try resting stomach down on your bed and feet at the edge and push the tops of your feet into the side of your bed for about 100 times. do this everyday and it should help.

What is track team in high school, how does it work, and how can you join?

You can get Shin splints more than once.

I would always get Shin splints while in soccer.

Is around 6:40 a good time for a 14 year old 8th grade guy's 1600m time?

You can't be stretching properly/ enough. Take time to recover, and then make sure you warm up properly.

For a 13 year old 5"6 female what are good times for the 100m sprint and the 800m run?

I think you can get them more than once. I am not sure why you get them though.

run on grass or softer surfaces than pavement , i used to get them as well, i used atot of ice to calm the swelling, eventually you will overcome them, just dont stop running.

What is a good meal to eat the night before a big race?

no just ice them , keep running & ask your coach for special streching techinques!
