How do you feel about it runners?
Question:Regardless if it's a good idea or not, I am setting out in exactly one year to become the youngest person to run across the country solo. I'll also be one of the, if not the only person to do it with no less than a little sack around my stomach and the clothes on my back. However, I'm not doing it to set a record, it's always been a dream of mine! Yes since forrest gump! haha But the real reason behind this is not just my goals, but I want to help others, espeically runners realize their goals more as well.
One more thing, and here is the question. Do you think I could get enough support to raise money for a charity? Do you think this is a good idea at all? And most of all do you think this would be a good, if not great way, to help runners and all other people realize their goals more? I need to hear some starting opinions. And yes I am dead serious about this! Thanks!

How do I wash my Adidas A3 gigarides? Please help...?
In the words of Walter Sobchack - "Way to go, Dude. If you will it, it is no dream." That is an incredible feat you have set for yourself. If you've set this for your goal I won't presume to tell you whether you've trained properly or sufficently. Obviously you've planned and you think you're trained, so it's now just down to execution. In case you can't tell I think this is a really cool idea - one I'd love to do myself. Wish I could join you for the experience. If you want to raise money for charity ask people for a penny per mile most people will be inclined to bet you bag it after a couple of days so you'll probably get a decent number of donors. In my experience though - it's COLLECTING the pledges that is the big work, not getting the pledges in the first place.
If I had any advice for you, though, it would be this: Charity and thoughts of motivating other runners won't get you through the long, lonely days you'll experience on the road. If you're doing a cross country trip you need to do it for yourself...and be comfortable with doing it for yourself. Ask yourself - if not one other runner was motivated by my feat would I still want to do it. If the answer is "yes" then you're all set.
Has anyone run the Paris Marathon?
Umm.. pretty good also depending about if thier good or not and if thoer my friend.I'm running 10k in 5 weeks. What kind of foods should I be eating in lead up to the race?
if it's your goal then go for it, start contacting charity's for a sponcer and get the information out there. But I hope you are training and have places to stay along the way. there is lots of planning and training you need to be doingplease post a website so we can monitor your progress and support you along the way

What can I expect from track practice?
It is a huge goal, you are very ambitious! It is an excellent idea and I am sure you could raise a lot of money for the charity of your choice. Ever heard of Terry Fox? He did raise a lot of money for cancer, by running across Canada - even now his name still raises money, more than 20 years after his death. He is very inspirational too!Good luck to u! I am a runner from Michigan and I think what u are doing is amazing! I hope that u accomplish ur goal and I'm sure u will! Just be careful not to overdo yourself.

Has any one tried the nike+ipod thing without nike shoes and how has tht worked?
I say go for it. No one can tell you waht to do with your dream. A weird dream, yes, but it is still your dream. I say if you do not try then you already fail. What others would consider hell (running all day), you will have to consider home.
Good luck, I am rooting for you.
