Help! twisted knee in long jump! :(?

My shins/ankles get sore when I run?

That's tough. On meet day I would say to go with some painkillers.

Now and for the weekend, ice it as much as possible, and definitely do not do anything with that knee. No running around the house or anything. It takes discipline to get a hurt knee back in two days! LOL

How do you run faster?

ouch!
knees are pretty serious. Have you seen a doctor?
I wouldnt mess with it, you really run the risk of injuring yourself more. It may be the last meet of the year, but see if you can sit it out. Its better to compete next year than inure yourself and not compete at all.

What is your current mile time?

I assume you already know the rest, ice thing. You really need to see a sports doctor or physical therapist. They can give you the right exercises do. However, if the injury is serious, there isn't anything that can cure it that fast. If your knee still hurts on Monday don't jump. Your knees are too valuable. Don't ruin them for one track meet.
