If your knees feel uncomfortable and weak, but there is no pain associated with your running, you can benefit from knee strengthening exercises. The best first step is to start running on a softer surface, like on a treadmill, track, or trail, until your knees start feeling stronger.

Also, below are links to some strengthening exercises to develop the muscles around your knee. The key is to do them for endurance which means many slow repetitions. This allows your muscles to handle more stress on your knees.

Good luck with your continued running~!

i would go get it checked out. It sounds to me like you may have strained a ligament or your miniscus may have slipped out of place and hence your bones are rubbing directly together.

My Final 4.5km Cross country run is on 18 April . wad must i do to run well on that day .. For expample ..?

Run in the shallow end of a pool. There is more resistance in water, and less impact, so you get a better work out and it won't be as bad on your knee.
