Any good running shoe for a severe shin splint sufferer?
probably around 8Track Spikes on a non rubberized track?
Who knows, the first guy said 8, So sure 8 seconds. Wow you're smokin' fast.Do you think this makes sense? And don't you think what my coach said was rude?
8 seconds? wouldnt that be slower.but i dunno definately faster than 6.71When you get done running do your..?
8 seconds? lmao.Usually, when you time yourself, it's gonna be off from an Official at a track meet timing you.
You can't really calculate what your time's going to be. If you know how to use blocks correctly, then you're time can easily drop. But, if you're like I was, and you're not comfortable with blocks, then they may hurt your time. To be honest, I don't really like using spikes either. They tend to hurt the bottoms of my feet. I only really use them on muddy days during Cross Country races.
But try it all out. Your time could go all the way up to 8 seconds like the 1st guy said, or it could drop down to a 6.5. You're never gonna know until you try it.
Why does my stomach burn when I run?
It's tough to understand how you time yourself, but here's what I can tell you:Spikes were the best thing for me speeding up my time. I was looking at a 1 second decrease in my 100m time on my best days, 0.5 on others.
Blocks would not help enough and they really really hurt you if you can't use them properly. It's not as easy as you might think. Maybe 0.1 or 0.2 seconds gained there if you know how to use them. 0.3-0.4 second INCREASE if you can't use them the right way.
The standing start is tough for me to judge because my crouching start actually slowed me down. I think that its like the blocks in that it's important to know how to do it to get a real increase. I also think that if your nerves have the best of you at the start, you will not have as explosive a start as you could have had and the time you taking getting to an upright position can slow you down.
As for timing yourself, I don't know what you mean so I can;t help you there.
Anyone run? Do Youn Think these running shoes are ok?
Woulda coulda shoulda? What gives? You are the only one who cares and that is OK.
Do it a lot and see if you get better. Why don't you know or have these things? Much better question to me. 6.71 depending on age of course, is no great shakes in the speed world. But for consistancy you should have spikes/blocks/independant timing. Without those it is apples to oranges. Both nice but utterly incomparable and certainly not convertible.
