State is at eastern Illinois has anyone ever gone there its my first time?? what is a state meet like? how are the rooms?

I am going there! I am not competing though. My dad is the track coach so i am going to watch. If you are staying in a dorm, i heard that they only have beds and that is it but that is all i have heard.

I went there for 4 years from 99-02 for state. The track is blue (which is really cool) and is 9 lanes. I did not stay overnight because I drove back home between days (was only an hour south) but from what I heard from other people, staying was alot of fun and you meet alot of people.
There are usually about 6,000 people there for finals day and its a really exciting atmosphere.
