Is a 5:07 mile good for my first track meet??
i havnt ran track before...but i did run cross country this year, i am a junior

Coincidentally, I ran marathons and long distance for many years. For a while, I ran the mile and timed myself to see how well I could do. 5:07 was my best time ever, so I'm impressed you could do it on your first meet!
Get a good running book; it will save you time and help you run better. I bought one by Jeff Galloway, he's pretty sharp.

ARE YOU Kidding?!?!?!?!? You Suck, i got it done in 22.05 seconds. so ha.....oh you said running, i thought you meant drag racing.lol. yea, thats an awesome timeStop bragging. You know some of us are still trying to break 7 minutes!! Just kidding, well, not about breaking 7 minutes, but I'm a little older and just started running for speed again. I ran track in a small Missouri town and made the team with 5:50's. 5:07 is very respectable.
