Should i do cross country?

If you watch the olympics, you'll see that the sprinters are beefy because they have "fast-twitch" muscles. Those of us who have mostly "slow'twith" muscles aren't as fast but are better running long. The marathoners tend to be little and wiry.

So yes, the type of muscle is different and your born with a certain mix.

there are 2 "types" of muscles when it comes to running. Twitch muscles and long muscles. the higher the concentration of each contribute to type of runner you turn out to be.

Of course you use different muscles, and what you excel at is the one you have the most talent to do, and the one you train for. Good LUck

Does anybody run in Brooks sneakers? What's your opinion?

Endurance is almost all about stamina in your lungs and sometimes your legs if they get tired easily. Sprinting is more about ability to turn your strength into speed as quickly as possible and stamina usually isn't a problem (except for 400m)
