You really don't have to worry about breathing. Your body will naturally do the right thing when running. But to answer your question, no it's not better to breath in through your nose. When running, you can breath in more air through your mouth. The more oxygen the faster and farther you can run.

If you are getting tired too quickly it is because you are running too fast. Slow down the pace or start with a combination or running and walking.
Good luck with your running.
What 2 mile time do you need to get into UCLA?
that is a myth. You don't have to breathe through your nose. do what is most comfortable.Just a few quick question for all you runners out there. I just need a few opinions.?
The myth of breathing in through your nose and out through your mouth will never die. The air goes to the same place at the same time. There is no benefit to breathing in through your nose. Just be certain that you take deep breaths and do not gasp or pant and take short breaths. Breathing in and out through your mouth does not make you tired. Is it possible for me to train for the 100 meters at home?
You should try pacing your breathing just like you should pace yourself while running.I am starting a new running program?
ALWAYS breathe the correct way in practice, when your running on your own, and any other time you run. Eventually it'll become natural for you to breathe the correct way. Good luck! :)it really does not matter how you breath as long as you are breathing. just do what feels comfortable and natural. if you are worried about it, try breathing in every 3-4 steps and then out the same way, dont worry about breathing through your nose, it all goes to the same place anyway.
