yall i really need to know how to clean my orthotics. i went for a run and then some how had to go through a creek swamp. long story. how do i clean them?

First off, are these custom made orthotics, or just ones you get from Dick's Sporting Goods or other stores? If yours are custom orthotics, here's how to clean them-I don't know how to clean other ones, since they're made of different materials than custom ones are:
First off, rinse them off in water; then, use soap on the part that touches your foot. Don't put soap on the bottom; I forget what it does to them, but the guy who made mine told me to never put soap on them. I just use regular hand soap on mine; it works fine. Then, lay them out somewhere to dry overnight. In the morning, they should be clean and dry! It also helps if you take them out of your shoes after every run; this makes them less likely to stink in the long run, though I've had my orthotics for a year and they still don't stink.
