What are some good western runners?
The wa y to get Really faster is train, but on such a short notice your going to have to improvise. have a dinner tonight of spaghetti to get carbs for energy. In the morning of the race do not eat anything exotic, greasy, or out of the ordinary, just try to have a dry bagel with water, because you'd rather be hungry for your race than sick. I fpossible buy a power gel packet from a local health store like GNC they run about 2.50 each, but get them without caffeine because that dehydrates you. Drink a lot of water tonight (at least 2 water bottles full) to get yourself hydrated. the day of the race run a slow 800 meter warm up(trust me) and stretch for a good 10-15 minutes, because to perform your best you have to be REALLY stretched, and stretching before your race will give you a serious upper hand. try not to be too neervous before the race also if you can. Also wear the lightest and most comfortable pair of shorts and a T-shirt. Also wear running shoes, race shoes if you have them, and have a good race.-clayton
Can you run barefoot in a track meet?

during the races, go all out as hard as you can from start to finish. run through the finish line.
Are sprinters track spikes fine for long jumping?
In just one day, there is little you can do. If you over exert yourself at this point, chances are you may end up injuring yourself. The best thing to do, is to do a lighter workout in preparation for tomorrow, be sure to eat heartily, and get plenty of rest..What is the best nutrition / supplement for any sort of exercise? I need the product name?
For the 400, start out slowish then sprint the last 200m. for the 200, it should be an all out sprint. There's nothing much you can do in one day to build stamina as that takes much training over a long period of time. Speed is mainly based on form. Don't slam your feet into the ground, make sure your feet are moving backwards when they hit the track because you want to use the reactive force to propel you forward. Run with your arms pumping in time with your legs at right angles. Have funkeep shoulders squared and sprint at the end of the last turn for the 400m
