I am a high school soph, and i run about a 25 to 24.8 200 meter dash how can i improve that time.?

Run eight 200m. Aim for 28s. Olympics runners do the same thing(even though they can do it faster). They get their conditioning down and its money in the bank. Every time you do them your that much closer to your goal.Looking for a marathon training guide. I am running a full marathon at the beginning of Novemebr.?
The first answer is great, but also you may want to work on the blocks and the turn...come out low and stick to the inside line of your lane...also you should be leaning in the turn and you should feel yourself get straight up when coming out of the turn.I wish the 200 was straight. I ran a 21.6 in high school...at the first 100 my time was 11.9. the second 100 was 9.7.

Plyometrics. Use certain drills such as powers skips and straight leg bounds. This works most effectively when you squat twice your bodyweight, but that isn't necessary. Other than that, make sure you are mentally prepared for the race.That is not really much things you can do,

Eat healthy food and less JUNK food!
Practice real HARD, don't say I am tire, I can't run no more, I am thirsty I need water, the weathers is too cold, too hot, no way I can run faster,
those are the reason you can't make yourself run faster, can't improve the time!
