I'm 13 and I'm running the 800 m on April 24th, suggestions for training?
i ran the 800 last year and my best time was 3:05..i wasn't the best, but i wasn't the worst either. i haven't run in a really long time, and track practice just started last week. i'm worried that im not going to be very good at it this year. i went running yesterday and i got winded verryy quickly. i just want to get better at running long distance. like the 800 && 1600. any suggestions?

I suggest running 6 days a week and running 3-6 miles.
possibly do some repeat sprints (200, 400, 300,) on the track to build up speed but still focus on building base millage
