How important are the shoes when running?
If you sing or swim, then you might have heard of this tactic before-Lay on your back and feel your stomach while you breath.
The air you breath in should raise your belly.
Stand up and try to breath in such a way that your stomach goes out when you take in air. That's how it should feel when you're breathing while you're running.
Another tactic that I've heard of is concentrate on breathing in when your right foot hits the ground, and then out when your right foot hits the ground again, in when right foot hits the ground, etc. Or you can use the left foot instead, but you get the point.
*Always keep your chin parallel to the ground. Looking down blocks the airways.
*If you're getting a cramp, bring your arms up
*Where good running shoes. You'd be surprised at what that can change. Even when you don't think your feet need them, it can have an effect on the rest of your body too.

Breathing should be natural. If you can't seem to catch your breath, try a cadence to regulate your breathing...see link below. Good luck!

Can you get addicted to running? Is it bad?
When i run i breathe from my nose and out from my mouth. But when i get really tired i breathe only with my mouth. It helps if you hum a tune using your breath to regulate the rhythm of your breathing. If u get tired don't suddenly stop just slowly walk it off. The results of sudden stopping might be a heart attack if you have a heart condition. How i turn pro long distance runner?

Is hurdles considered "track" or "field"?
If you're feeling sick or dizzy at the end of a run it is because you are training at an intensity that is too high for you... What is happening is that you are no longer using the cardiovascular energy system and are going into the bodies lactic energy system and this creates by products within the body that can make you feel sick.Try either lower the intensity or do intervals with rest in between if you want to work on sprints which do use the lactic system.
