Diet while training for 1/2 marathon?
I am just wondering what kind of diet i should follow while I am training for a 1/2 marathon. I am obviously running longer, harder and more frequently than normal. What kinds of foods should I focus on to keep my body healthy? Please be specific. Thanks

Just try to eat a normal balanced diet.avoid fast foods, anything high in fat, and soda with sugar in it. when you start doing very long training runs, you may want to up your carbs a bit, but thats it.

When I was training for such distance, I never worried too much about diet, just all the pizza and beer I could get. Somehow, strenuous exercise had a way of making up for the ills of imperfect dieting. Just make sure you are getting plenty of water all day long and sufficient vitamins.Good Luck
