There are many. Jeremy Wariner is the top 400 meter man for the last 3 years. Sanya Richards is the top female 400 meter runner. Deena Kastor is in the top 3 in marathon. Asafa Powell from Jamaica is world recorder holder in 100 meters. The top 200 meter male and female are from the western hemisphere. 4 of top 5 110 meter hurdlers also. Except for distances almost all top runners are from western hemisphere.
