Core Strength = Better Kick?

Is it true that if you have a strong core you will have a better kick finish?

Pedometer troubles? how much is 0.081 miles? or 0.132Km?

The mistake most people make is they work the major muscles, but not the core muscles. This leads to injury. Working your core improves your ability to perform, so it will help you train. It and of itself will not give you a kick finish, but it will allow you to have fewer injuries so you can train for your race.

Has any one run disney marathon (2007)?

Yea, you can keep your form better. But if you use that energy that you stored sooner, and then gut it out you're more likely to have a better time than kicking at the end because everyone has momentum already.

What would be a good time for a freshman in the mile and 2 mile?

The core is overrated. Core exercises may actually be hurting your posture. Its all in the legs.
