Is running affecting my workout?

its usually a breathing problem

you want to focus on taking long, slow breaths. you should breathe from your diaphragm, rather than your chest and shoulders. sometimes it helps to count paces while you breathe, like in for 4 steps, out for 4 steps.
dont worry about the "in through the nose, out through the mouth" thing, its not true. Breathe however feels good for you.

What is your personal definition of a runner?

It could be to do with your breathing.

Try 'getting better at breathing'! I know that sounds stupid but you could try swimming and or diving to improve your lung capacity.

Track Help...?

Ha! I get a stitch after running 1-2 metres, stop whining.

Can endurance training techniques be used for career?

Yeah stitches are usually from lack of oxygen/irregular breathing, or related to your stomach...how much potassium and electrolytes, how much water, and how soon you run after you ate. Try drinking plenty, getting a regular breathing pattern/breathing deeper, and try eating a banana or yogurt (with some time to digest) and just see what helps. If you can, try to run through it. If you can't, slow down, steady your breathing and then try to continue.

I had 2 races today and I am really dizzy right now?

I believe you get a stich due to a lack of oxygen. In the past I have also had stitches, but alleviated them by ensuring I breathed in and out to my full capacity forcing the are in and out. This worked for me and I was able to continue to run. Everyones lung capacity is different and we have to train our diaphram muscles in order to improve our breathing. You can buy power breath devices (about £40!) to improve your diaphram muscles or alternatively attend a yoga class. It is all about controlling our breathing. Be careful of the drinks you have before you run as well as your food e.g try to avoid caronated drinks. Hope this helps and happy running.

How fast can you run in 3 km?

form a pattern with your breathing. When I get a stitch I tend to breath according to my pace, ie if a slow pace i will breath in and out on every two paces - it does work, give it ago.

Track!! What are some good pointers for the long jump?

A side stitch is usually caused by your diaphragm. When this happens slouch over a little and see if it helps by shortening your torso. If you can relax your diaphragm the stitch will often ease and go away. Try to take even breaths do not gasp or pant.

Running injury-left heel suddenly started aching-how long should I stop running?

It ultimately is breathing related. I've gotten stitches whenever I was pushing near my max heart rate for more than 2-3 minutes. Of course running at this intensity you are gasping like one who suffers from asthma, but I only allow this to happen during my kick towards the end of a race, where I decide ahead of time that I'm going to deal with the pain for the last half mile.

I am a high school soph, and i run about a 25 to 24.8 200 meter dash how can i improve that time.?

When I'm going for a run I eat two hours before but keep drinking water and don't get stitch.

I cant improve my running!!?

stitch is just a build up of lactic acid in the muscle, so if you keep stopping and starting if you cross a lot of roads then it will build up and give you a stitch. Although if you keep running the tollerance will get better as you get better stamina and then you shouldn't get cramps or stitches as bad, and whilst running you should drink water or an energy drink because that will help you go for longer aswel.

What shoe replaced New Balance's 765?

Well find a different way of breathing that is less stressful but comfortable because the way you are taking in oxygen may require more energy to be used up. Also try drinking more fluids i.e water.
