What are a good brand of shoes to get for running?
yes, new shoes need to be broken in before you start running a lot in them. and the heel seems to be the worst place for it.you can put a band aid or moleskin on the sore spots while you break in the shoes.
what I do with a new pair of shoes -
week 1, wear them for a couple hours a day as normal 'walking around shoes'.
week 2, wear them for shorter workouts (4 miles or less)
week 3, wear them as normal workout shoes.
If I think I'm going to get a blister from a pair of shoes, I'll put a bandaid on before I go for a run. This prevents blisters. The moleskin patch works, too.
Are you wearing thick socks? That helps, too.
When you run should i drik alot of water or not and why?
No, new shoes should not need to be broken in before wearing. If they fit properly they should not rub your heel. If the fit and you are wearing socks they should not be rubbing your foot. If they are rubbing up and down when you run they will not break in and stop rubbing. Make sure they fit correctly and you are wearing socks. Did you have them fitted at the store? Most good shoe stores will help you with the fit and you can wear them in the store to make sure they do not rub up and down or pinch your foot.Hi iam a guy 17 years old and i have chicken legs.?
Yes. You have to break them in before running in them. What I do is walk around in them for a day before I take them out for a run. Also, you might want to wear different socks. Thicker socks with high cufs so ur shoe doesn't rub up against ur ankle or heel.Does anyone know any morning running clubs in telford, shropshire?
New shoes, do need a bit of a break in period of you are doing some heavy milage. But, should not cause blisters if they are fitted properly.Make sure you are wearing Running socks, with are double layered this will help. Also you shoe should be tied tight and you should not be able to pull your foot out if they are laced right.
By you shoes at a running store, where they specialize in running.

How do I train properly to be a sprinter (runnning)?
I agree that the shoes should not give you blisters but if you have feet like mine no shoe is completely blister free.I used to get blisters and a corn bump on my toes but over the last 3 weeks I have not had any irritation.
It's a little messy but rubbing enough petroleum jelly on your feet will help (as well as keeping them soft). Or they have aeroglide as well.
I have found that band aids tend to move around a lot, so you could cover the area but after 20 minutes they shift around in your socks. I experimented with a few body tapes out there. I tried Kinesio-Tex foot tape for my arches to hold a piece of sticky foam in place on the blister, so it does not slide around the place. Its a little expensive but it seems to be the best tape out there for getting around non-flat areas.
i have been told, that if you buy running shoes you should be able to put them on and run with them and nothing happends. i bought some last year and constantly had blisters. i bought a 9.5. later i bought asics 10 and i have been more than happy. no blisters no nothing. they say to buy running shoes 0.5 size bigger because the foot is moving and also might swell according to hot or cold months. also never go what looks good when it comes to running shoes. more important is what feels good on your foot.
good luck
