Track Spikes on a non rubberized track?
on a regular track while running the 800m should i put in my spikes

What do I need to start running?
I always wear spikes even for the 2-mile. They give me so much more traction and I actually feel like they make me faster. For the 800, I think they definitely help because it's a long distance sprint. I don't know if spikes REALLY make me faster, but just the fact that it feels that way is enough for me to just put them in. It feels better, and if you put them in, it's not like it would slow you down, whereas if you didn't, well, who knows...so my advice is to just wear spikes for every race. :)How to become a marathon runner?
It depends how it feels. I don't wear them that often and I really don't think they do that much. But do what you think is comfortable.I have a race today at 5:45 i want to leave at 12:50pm to support?
It also depends: how big are your spikes? For example, if you've got cross country spikes in them...they're way too big, and are illegal according to various athletic association rules. For track, people use spikes that are sized 1/4 or 1/8; I find the 1/8 to be very small, however. Ask an employee at your local running or sporting goods store or your coach for help with them, if you need it. Good luck in the 800!Tips for pacing, endurance, and the 800m run?
That's a good question, if your legs can handle it you can do it, but I don't think it will shave any time.Personally all I think it will do for you is shin splints.
What is a regular track? You should wear spikes when racing. It makes a difference in your speed. The type and length of the spike is determined by the surface of the track. If it is a dirt or cinder track then the spikes are longer, if the track is an artificial surface then the spikes should be 1/8 or 1/4 inch.
When timing a mile run time, is the tredmil as accurate as the track?
If you can stay on up on your toes the entire 800 meters...spikes are ok. If not, I wouldn't wear spikes. I only used spikes for 400 meters or less.Does Ivory Crockett's 9.0 second 100 yard dash make him the fastest man ever?
I would.Nike Air Zoom Moire vs Nike Air Max 360?
yes you should, where 1/4 to 1/8 inch spikes. I experimented and it made a huge difference in my 800 and 1600m times. If the track isn't rubber, it will ruin your spikes and spikes wouldn't do you any good on it anyway. They are meant to give you traction, but there's no traction to get from an asphalt or concrete track.
Also, do wear them even though it's not a sprint race- I do the 2400, the 1600, and the 800, and I wear spikes for every one of them. They'll help you, just not as much as they would for a sprint race.
i don't know. i guess whatever feels like to you. i always wear my spikes though.
