Is a 4:50 mile good for a high school freshman?
Your shoes are "carp?" Wow, having fish shoes IS a problem.Seriously though...
Go to a professional running store, and have them size you. They'll watch you run, and put you into a shoe that best suits your tendencies.
My personal preference is for New Balance and Asics. I've worn and been happy with Brooks too.
Don't go to a major sporting good store. They will put you into any shoe, without any regard for stability control, pronation, supination, high arches, whatever.
You'll be much happier with the right shoe. It's probably the best thing you can do to prevent injury.
If budget is an issue, express that up front at the store. They'll give you choices, and sometimes offer discounts to clubs and teams. Ask.
Michigan 400 meter dash record?
The best shoes are none at allwell, there are so many to choose from, but i would suggest nike running shoes and are fairly cheap at leading lady/mens footlocker:)))
Don't get New Balence or NIKE, they are really heavy, get Asics or Adidas. The shoes dudes will probably know which model is best for you. I've used Asics for 3 years now, training and spikes. Just try on a bunch of shoes if you don't like Adidas or Asics, and get the one that feels good.
There are obviously no best running shoes! However, the most reliable running shoes are: Asics, Brooks, Mizuno and Saucony. Nike makes some decent racing flats, but too often their (Nike) running shoes are over priced and lame fashion statements! Go to a nearby local running store (not a Sports store) and get properly fitted in a running shoe that best suits your running style, ability and foot type.
Who makes a really good running shoe?
u should get nike shox or some nike prestosDo you run alone or with a group?
for practice and distance runs, get Asics Gel shoes.for meets and sprinting, get spiked shoes.
It completely depends on your foot type. Each shoe company is usually good for a certain type of foot. The best way to find out whats good for you is to go and try them on at the store and try jogging around a little.
The best is to go to a specialized running store. A lot of the time they can look at your current shoe and find out what kind of foot you have and what kind of runner you are based on the wear of the shoe. Based on that they can usually reccomend a good shoe.
