My nike watch has every possible display character filled in?

It's a nike sdm triax 100, but I don't know if that matters. I went for a run this morning and used the stopwatch, then sometime during the day the entire display "lit up". None of the buttons work, you can't tell time, you can't use any function. What is going on?

sounds like your battery is dying. I would get the battery replaced and see if that fixes it.

if not, you may be able to get it repaired under warranty, depending on how long ago you bought it.
