What is the best nutrition / supplement for any sort of exercise? I need the product name?
I run for myself, i run so i can go out there and have fun. I run to make me happy, when i'm mad i run to let out the anger, when i'm sad running takes my mind off all of the things in the world. And when i'm happy i run to make sure i stay that way, i just love running. Is it safe to run with weights in your hands?
im not the best runner, in fact i am one of the baddest runners in the whole school. although i still love running, i might want to die right in the middle of my exercise, but the feeling of acomplishing it, it feels good. i like the cold wind against my face and the feeling of going farther than where i have been.i run so that i can stay in shape, so that way i stay healthy, i also run when im bored so that i have something to do.
What is track team in high school, how does it work, and how can you join?
I run because I have always run. I never out grew the child in me that needs to run. Now, it has become a major part of my life. The benefits are I do not smoke, drink, or eat unhealthy foods. I am 61, but most people think I am 50 at the most. I am appalled at other American men who are obese by mid 30's. It makes me happy to run, it is mindless exercise where any troubles disappear. What is the youngest age for a person to run a low 4 minute mile?
I run so that I can.1. Have a bowl of ice cream at night ;-)
2. Still fit into my high school "glory days" jacket
3. Have lower cholesterol
4. Have lower stress
5. Have something to look forward to & goals to work at
Running's a great life hobby...for the mind, body, & soul. Happy running!

Jump-roping? how much will it help?
I have nothing else to do and it is kind of fun.I definitely run for fun; there's no other explanation why I would keep doing something that's bad for me (because of running, I can't gain the weight I need to gain, and I aggravate this skin condition that makes my feet perpetually blister. Ouch.) I also run for the feeling of the runner's high, even if I do tend to get a runner's high at inappropriate times (example: the day the mom of one of my friends died...bad day to get a runner's high and not be able to process sad things.)
It just makes me feel good when I go out and run 10 miles...I can say that my life feels happy when I run. It doesn't matter to me if I'm the best runner on my team; I've got my letter jacket, and now I just run for me. Not for coach, or my team, or my parents: for me. It is the best feeling ever.
What's the best way to prevent/care for blisters?
It gives me a sense of accomplishment. Also, when i have a bad day it clears my head.Everybody has their own reason for running. I run because I want to. I enjoy going faster and father than I thought I could and feeling the burning but satisfying feeling in my legs after a good work out.
On days when your pissed off it really helps to calm your mind. and heres a quote from a very good and acomplished runner.
You have to wonder at times what you're doing out there. Over the years, I've given myself a thousand reasons to keep running, but it always comes back to where it started. It comes down to self-satisfaction and a sense of achievement.
A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.
A race is a work of art that people can look at and be affected in as many ways they're capable of understanding.
those were all said by Steve Prefontaine and I think those would give you a good idea why some of us crazy track fanatics run our rears off lol.
I run to assist in the management of my diabetes. To lose weight but more importantly because of the self challenge to push myself to run faster and further. And the discipline required simply to do it some days. becuase there are days when even getting up can be a challenge.
because i like to and it makes me feel good, especially long runs 10 miles+.
Whats the Fastest Time Ever in the Mile / 1600 M?
23 years ago I way completely out of shape and doing nothing. After seeing Alberto Salazar run the Boston marathon to complete exhaustion I decided I had to do what needed to be done. So I went out in the winter in jeans and tshirts and just ran. I vowed never to let myself get like that again. Now at almost 50 and 28 marathons and innumerable races later, it's still about getting out every morning and staying in lifelong shape. The fun comes with the feeling of having achieved your fitness goals and the good days that one occasionally has. (Yes, there are good feeling days in running). Of course, having good friends that run too make it even more fun!
Bottom line: one objective leads to the other.
