I want to start running how do I start?
I am in the swim team,and I love it. I also want to do running but how do I start? I want to run the 5 k. How many days should I run in a week? Please help me.

I'm sorry...this is not an answer but I have to say "thanks" to scully for making me laugh harder than I have in a LONG time.Ok first you will want great shoes. Try Nikes,Addidas or anything else name brand since they usually work better. {I left a attachment of some shoe websites}
On running you want to start @ 4 min with out stoping running. run 6 times a week. After 1 week with go to 5. After that go up a Min again!
Also after you are done running massage your feet. That way your feet will not bother you.
