Im in high school track..how do you increase triple jump length?
Answers:
Good luck and I hope this helps!
to increase your distance you should try lifting weights with your legs and try putting up an obstical like a small hurdle only about two-three feet high and jump over that
this works with long jump especially well
First make sure your run up is the odd number of your age. So if you were 16 then take a 17 step run up and if your 17 use your age.
Then use the gradual build up technique. First start with your hop. Try a few hops into the sand pit with your run up. Then work on the power with your other leg. If you take off from your left leg putsh your right leg backwards to get more power in the hop. The same applies with the other leg.
Next work on your step. Try a few stride runs to increase your lenth in the step. Make sure you push off the starting leg to give you more hight.
After working on your hop and step work on your Jump. try a few long jumps with your run up. After trying a few of these add an object infront of you to make you jump over it. this will increase your hight. make it higher every few times you do it.
After practacing these skills individualy join them together and see how far you get. Work on getting your run up faster and your take off stronger and you will be fine.
I was jumping 7m 10 until i used this technique now I'm jumping 8m 20 so i hope this helps for you. Don't hesatate to email me if you need more information.

I need help finding a good track quote for a shirt?
It's hard to get technical on here. Find someone who can watch you and evaluate your technique.other than that, make sure you dont take out your first hop too ahrd otherwise it can compromise your next step because the pressure might be too much for your leg to spring back up again on.
Doing bounding drills and lifting weights is the best way to increase your distances. Squats would probably be the ebst exercise to do.
Breaking into new running shoes?
Besides the training, and weights necessary to develop your strength, look at your distance and the length of the phases. Most people jump too far on the first phase. It should be closer to 1/3 the total distance. If you jump too far in the first phase then you will not have the spring to carry the second phase, also try not to jump too high, because when you land you will not carry the momentum, but collapse. Practice on the grass or track doing the first 2 phases and see if you are going too far on the first. Paw the ground so that your foot is coming back not just blocking and landing and then pushing off.technique for this event is almost impossible to teach online...Try drills as they said.
ANyways, heres my story on how I go better.
I got some advice. 'run faster'
seems ridiculous, but after a while I realized it's merit. I was so obsessed about proper technique, I was giving up speed while thinking about it. If you run as fast as you can and jump, you'll get pretty far.
Just try it once, go at your absolute break neck speed and just jump, see how far you get.
