Does Ivory Crockett's 9.0 second 100 yard dash make him the fastest man ever?

What country-wide stores can you buy a diskus?
Time was manual. We have fully automated timing now, and there is no way to know for sure how fast he ran, so it is inconclusive. Most manual times are around .25 to .3 seconds off (Human reaction time averages). I'd say he is pretty darn fast thoughAm I good enough to be a college or pro runner?
no i rune 9.2 sec 100 yard dash.and im in 7th gradeWhat would be a good title for my paper?
Dude that 7th grader who answered this question did not run a 9.2 100 yard dash. Poor little kid is confused, so disregard his answer.Once Bob Hayes ran a sub 9 second 100 yards at Florida A&M. When they measured the track, which is required for records the track was a few inches short. He did not get the record (he already had the record) but I think that could have been the fastest hand time ever.
I suffered from cramp the other day when i was running. What is the best way to get rid cramp?
No, becaue it's impossible to run that fast. Check out the world record books and you will NOT see his name as a worldrecord holder.Ivory Crockett's 9.0 second was timed "manually" back in 1974.
Let Asafa Powell or a prime Maurice Green run and timed manually and I guarantee you that there would be some crazy fast unrealistic times.
Asafa Powell is the current fastest man in the world with his 9'77 record in the 100meters.
The front of my shins hurt from running in track practice. could it be...?
Do the math.Current world record for 100 meters is 9.77 seconds
100 yards is 91.44 meters
To run 100m in 9.77 second you travel at 10.23541 meters/second.
To run 91.44 meters in 9.0 seconds, you travel at 10.16 meeters/second.
If you convert FAT to hand by adding the typical .24 seconds . ..
To run 91.44m in 9.24 seconds you travel at 9.8961 meters per second.
Either way you look at it, the current record holders are faster.
At the same time though, remember that Michael Johnson ran the 200m in 19.32 seconds at the '96 summer Olympics. His average pace was 10.35196, which is, of course, faster than any recorded speed of anyone in the 100m
