How do I move a pool table?
I need to move a 6' slate top pool table but I need to know if the legs come off easily. It is an arcade style with a ball return. I also need to know if the table will stay together when it's on its side, or if the slate will move.

the legs should fold into the table. some pool tables have directions with them, others can be taken apart and put back together. From what you are describing I think the legs fold into the table then you slide it from place to another. I suggest you get a friend to help I might be wrong about this so don't take my word for it,Is Stephen Hendry over the hill?
You need to remove the top assembly from the leg assembly and can set it on its side on a few folded towels so as not to scratch it up, the slate will stay put. Move the leg assembly to wherever you need it then reattach the top. You will most likely have to re-level the table after bolting it back together, using its leg levelers and a bubble level. If it has a ball return be careful as the top is super heavy typically.-NmD!
