Question for Pool players?
If one person gets both the last of his/her (solid or striped) ball as well as the 8 ball in a pocket during the same turn, does that person win or lose?

The 8-ball must always be pocketed in its own shot. Doing otherwise constitutes a loss of game (BCA rule 4.20). However, you did ask if they are pocketed in the same "turn". If the person who pockets theirr last ball, in 8 ball, "calls" thei last ball AND the 8 ball, prior to shooting their last ball, they win, if both are pocketed in the manner described.
