because this forum is for snooker and pool. The snooker they are referring to is a type of billiards game...Not snook, which is a saltwater species of fish. And I think the pool they are referring to is not pool as in "tidal" or "backyard", but as in, again, billiards. If you don't know the difference between billiards and fishing there's a lot more wrong then just your ability to catch fish

I think a cue or cue stick is really not suitable to be used as a fishing rod, even thou u could tie a fishing line at the end of it :) In the olden day before fish rod were invented they used to used a branch of a tree.
