At the moment you bring your cue stick in to hit the cue ball,are your eyes on the cue ball or object ball?

It is played on a 6' X 12' table. The balls and holes are smaller than a regular 4' X 8' table. If you can master this game because of the smaller balls and holes, the regular game is easier. I used to play a game of golf with other players. You can play as many players as you can identify balls. The best is usually about 6 players. You lag for shooting order. The first player puts his ball on the spot then trys to bank, from the break end, to the first hole which is the right corner on the opposite end (which should be to your right hip). The second hole is the left corner from the number one hole(which should be to your left hip). The third is the middle hole on the left. The holes keep going that way until you get to the "Out Hole" which is the middle hole on the right side. As long as you make the hole, you spot your ball and play for the next hole leaving the cue where it stopped on you first shot, etc. etc. It is possible to play all the holes and win the game without anyone getting a shot. If you miss your shot, leave your ball in play, the next player, with cue in hand, lags and it keeps going that way until all lag their ball. If nobody makes the hole the first shot, the first player starts again where the cue ball was left after the last person lags. The object is to make your ball but leave the cue where the person following you has no shot. All the players are responsible for watching the player behind them but at the same time can knock someone away from the hole they are going for. It can be very frustrating at times. After playing for awhile with good players, you learn how to use the cue ball, plenty of bank shots and general knowledge of what happens to the balls after a shot. What makes it interesting is you play for so much a game plus so much for every mistake you make. For instance if you play for $5.00 a game plus 10 mistakes @ $.50, you can collect $10.00. It is suggested you have a blackboard or something else to keep track of where the players are on the course and how many mistakes they have made. You can make your own rules for mistakes. We played mistakes like missing your ball if you can see 100% of it. If you miss your ball, you go back to the previous hole. It you are hooked or can only see a portion of your ball, and you miss your ball it is not a go back to the previous hole mistake. If you accidently make someone else's ball in their hole, they get the hole and can advance to the next hole on their shot. Once you learn this game it can become very interesting and fun.

How do I renovate a pool table?

Snooker is a game played on 12 foot long tables, like pool you have a cue ball that is white and you have a bunch of other colored balls.

You start by trying to pocket a red, once you do, you can call a color and try and pocket it.

The idea is to go red color red color red color until all of the red balls are gone.

Each time you sink the colored ball, it goes back on the table if there are still red balls left.

Once the red balls are used up you take the colors in order, green brown yellow blue pink black.

black = 7 points
pink = 6 points
blue = 5 points
brown = 4 points
green = 3 points
yellow = 2 points

I could be wrong on the green brown yellow points, its been 20 years since I played!

I think the way my father told me to remember the order of green brown yellow blue pink black was "God Bless You Blue Pink Black" or somthing like that.

A very boring "Pool-like" game with a bigger table & you have a bunch of single colours (pink, brown, blue etc.) & a bunch of red coloured balls. you have to sink the coloured balls in a particular order, but one at a time. every time you sink a coloured ball you have to sink a red in an alternate manner. you have to put the coloured ones back on the table in a designated spot until all the reds are gone...then you go in order to sink all the coloured balls. they all have a designated points set to them; so you get the points of the balls you sink. its better to have it explained to you while playing it. i just didnt find it fun myself, but you may love it.
