Unless you are trained to do it, hire a professional to change the cloth. The rails have to come off and the cushions need to be reclothed as well. Everything needs to be stretched properly. Seriously, it's not a do-it-yourself job. Worth the money. M.D.-BCA Instructor/Referee.This site offers a book to explain the process. Taking the rails off and replacing the felt isn't super hard, but it can be time consuming when you are not completely familiar with the process.
1.You take the rails off and remove old felt and then clean the slate with glass cleaner.
2.cover table leaving at least 12 in hanging off
all the way around.
3.Stretch felt on 1/2 of table with 1 person on each side make sure to pull tight! Then staple
4.do the other half the same way.
5. stretch the lenghth of table the same way.
6.cut out for pockets by cuting 3 slits 1/2 way up towards pocket { you will use this to pull and wrap under lip)
7. use 3m spray glue to hold down felt on pocket lip.
