Who is going to win the world snooker championship?

it depends on the size table . A regluar cue is 57 inches, I recomend a minium of 5 feet from any obstruction, my general rule of thumb if you want to play a real game and not use a short cue or have to jack way up is , 5 feet all the way around, so if you get a 3.5 by 7 you will need a minium room size of 13.5 by 17 feet, a 4 by 8 table you need 14 by 18 , and oversized eight you need 14.2 by 18.2 feet. and a 4.5 by 9 you need 14.5 by 19 , a ten footer you need 15 by 20 and a 6 by 12 you need 16 by 22 ..this is enough , if you want to cut it close you can go from the rails edge and still make it ..the playing surface on and 8 foot table is 44 by 88 inches , a pro eight is 46 by 92 and a nine footer is 50 by 100 that is the playing surface deminisons , you cna add 114 inches to that and it is still barley enough ... if you look on the internet or elsewhere you will find all the measurements say less is ok by it is not.those measurements are incorrect and put out by table manafactures so they can sell more tables ....do the math ... a reg cue is 57 the playing surface on an 8 foot is 44 by 88 the minium you can have and still play right is 158 by 202 inches ...

Here is an easy way to figure your room size. Just add ten feet to the dimensions of the table. That will give you five feet all the way around the table. For example , if your table is 4 1/2 x 9 then your room would have to be at least 14 1/2 x 19 ft.
