How do I use Pool table diamonds?
Question:I've found several poorly written summaries on the internet on how to use pool table diamonds.
Mostly I get non-helpful "obvious" answers like:
"It's about angles" < duh!, and?
or
"With practice you'll figure it out" < uh, no...I didn't !
So, is there anyone out there that can give me the real truth BEYOND the obvious about angles and practice, blah blah blah.
How do I use the angles in relation to my cues stick, the ball I want to sink, and the pockets?

There are some good books out there on using the diamond system. It is too complicated to explain in 1 article or on sports1234.com . There may even be some good videos out there on the subject. Even after you figure it out it does require a lot of practice to fully understand it. Myself , I'm more of an instinct and feel player than a mechanical one so I have never tried to master any kind of system. Good luck to you.Does anyone know the regulation height of a pool table?
