What is the best make in pool Balls?

I need to buy my Fiance spots and stripes pool balls for a Christmas Suprise. He already has 2" Aramith Red/Yellow pool balls, which came with the pool table. Is there any difference between the cheaper brands and the size?

The two best pool balls available on the market are the "Aramith Super Pro" set and "Brunswick Centennial" set. There are lower grades of Aramith and Brunswick balls, but these are the top of the line for each brand and are comparable in quality. The standard size for pool balls is actually 2 1/4" diameter.
