Specific reasons for favorite cue?
There have been a lot of questions lately about different brands of cues, as the holdiay season is rapidly approaching. Everyone, including myself, has a particular brand of choice. Without just saying "brand X is the best", tell me specifically "why" you feel this way. Talk about materials, construction, balance points, wraps, inlays, tips, ferrules...whatever. I have my own reasons for playing with a Schuler cue, but I want to know your reasoning. Take your time, think it over. M.D.-BCA Instructor/Referee.

Hey shooter whats up? I can't say that I have a particular favorite brand of pool cue. I currently own four different cues from four different makers. I use them all from time to time. They are McDermott , Viking , Falcon and Brunswick. Oh, I also use a McDermott jump, break stick. I like them all and they all feel very comfortable to me. These are the things that they all have in common , 19 ounces , 58 inches long , 13 millimeter hard tips, wood to wood joint construction and irish linen wraps. And I use a padded triangle tip on my break cue. If I had to pick just one to keep it would probably be my McDermott only because it was my first. Why dose it not work when u try 2 find a website?
The Predator Cues are my favorite..I am not a "world class" player..a little above good but not great..that information is for your weighing my opinion.but the Predator shaft by its design answers almost every question that I had about deflection that I ever had.in "my" mind it is about the most perfect "theorized" shaft ever made..in my mind if the grain of the wood is running all in the same direction.it should be much more stable and in principal...less deflection...you still have to shoot...nothing does that for you.but I think this shaft comes the closest to factor out as many of the variables there are in the "contact" part of the game....good luck with your project!!My very first cue is a simple wooden 19oz Dufferin with a black ferrule. I still love this one the best. I guess it always just feels right and I can consistently shoot like a champ with it. Despite the nicks and natural wear I still bring it out to league nights...
i quite like John Parris cues bcos they are very nice to hold and i dont miss when i use the cue.the weight is evenly balanced.
What is the best pool cue to buy?
from 1966 -1989. I owned a bar with 2 older Brunswick tables. lots of guys came from all over to play & most of the best shooters,used a house cue,and won most of the games. I always retipped them myself not many used their own.Have you ever been hit in the head with a foreign object?
Predator Cues are the best for me. Based on experience and based from most professional players, it's the best cue out there.More Questions & Answers...
