I have to agree with my man, Eightbraker on this one. The words "sturdy" and "folds" shouldn't be in the same sentence when it comes to a pool table. I have seen super-cheap pool tables with folding legs before, but you're essentially buying a toy, not a quality piece of sports equipment. Back when the Sears catalog was still around, I saw something like what you are describing. If space is an issue, you can purchase special inserts so your pool table can double as a dining table.
